Aquaflow Porous Paving

Aquaflow Porous Paving is now available from The Specimen Tree Company using McCallum’s red rock. Porous paving is ideal for situations where a free draining solid surface is required.

The Specimen Tree Company has recently been appointed the sole NZ distributor for Porous Paving Solutions, an Australian company which has developed Aquaflow Porous Paving, a resin based paving surface.

Aquaflow Porous Paving provides a highly permeable surface, which is both stable and environmentally friendly.

Aquaflow Porous Paving is laid in-situ utlilising resin to strongly bond pebble in such a way that the paving contains almost 50% voids. This allows rain and stormwater to effortlessly drain into the natural subterranean aquifers.

It is particularly suitable for use adjacent to trees in urban streetscapes or public spaces, especially areas of high pedestrian count.
Use of Aquaflow Porous Paving allows for the free movement of air and water to tree roots which is essential for tree health, unlike conventional paving which does not allow this important process to take place.
Trained staff are able to lay Aquaflow Porous Paving so as to achieve a high quality finish that provides:
