Fields 800 is a sand product ideal for use in the turf industry. |

It is also available in smaller quantities suitable for customers wanting to refurbish residential lawns. |

Fields 800 exhibits excellent drainage and particle distribution for use in field drainage systems, sand top dressing applications and turf replenishment. |
|||
Particle distribution permits soil aeration and provides good resistance to compaction. |
|||
The product performs well in high rainfall locations and has been installed widely throughout the Auckland region since June 2006, in applications ranging from top dressing to full sand carpet re-instatement. |

Fields 800 is a marine sand sourced from deepwater (30 metres) and is consistently coarser than other marine sands available for turf application. |

Fields 800 has been tested in trials carried out by the NZ Sports Turf Institute. They found no significant difference in grass growth characteristics or worm activity between grass grown using Fields 800 and grass grown in a "proven industry standard" sand.
