Maritime Operations
McCallum Bros. Ltd vessels are primarily used for sand collection and transport of sand and aggregate to our depots.
We regularly deliver our own product or product supplied by other companies to customers within the Hauraki Gulf and as far away as Whangarei and Gisborne.
We have been involved in several special projects transporting cargo throughout New Zealand including destinations such as Nelson and Dunedin.

Special Projects
The Balder
| In 1991 the pipe laying vessel Balder visited New Zealand to construct the Maui B gas platform and lay pipelines to the existing Maui A station. The barge Pohonui was used to store equipment on in Golden Bay during this project. |

Towing HMNZS Waikato to Tutakaka
| The frigate Waikato was sunk as a diving site of the coast of Tutukaka in the year 2000. The tug Wainui towed the frigate from Auckland to Tutukaka. |
